The onRoute team have embarked on a magical journey from Dullstroom to KNZ Coast and heading home via the Drakensburg and Clarens. Keep tuned in and experience our journey daily.
As promised ATKV-Natalia, Illovo beach proved to be a welcome break with the beach a mere stone’s throw away, and a warm pool which we lazed away the day in and always greeted by friendly staff made our stay really worthwhile. Exploring the KZN South Coast has sure opened onRoute’s eyes to the shear glory and breathtaking natural scenic wonder, including adventure, sandy beaches, adrenalin pumping activities, an all in one snake, reptile, bird & croc farm including farm animals to delight the kids.
Staying at a very comfortable St Michaels Sands Hotel and Restaurant, Shelley beach, walking on the nearby beach, basking in the sun around a glorious pool and delighting in the cuisine at the newly refurbished restaurant was quite a treat…
A journey to savor began with a scenic drive through beautiful dense forest to Lake Eland Game Reserve where we were exhilarated by the 4.5km ziplining over wildlife, changing scenery below including a river was such a delight. Off to Oribi Gorge left us breathless as we were 55 stories high above one of the most beautiful natural creations we have ever had the privilege of seeing, and off she went over the edge, swinging below was just too awesome to see and embrace as Wild 5 Adventures, Oribi Gorge steered her through the safe and spectacular experience.
A late tasteful lunch, overlooking a scenic and spectacular gorge at Leopard Rock, a photographer’s haven was just what was needed to relax and take in the adventure of the day.
