Wild Water Rafting is now available

Thanks to the incredible recent rains we had we are amped to announce the Wild Water Rafting is now available again (BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL!!!)

Experience the Umzimkhulu River like never before and enjoy braving the rapids (grades 2 to 4, depending on the river conditions) under the safe guidance of a professional river rafting instructor.

If the river is not your cup of tea, we have other amazing activities that will keep you busy for hours which include.

Wild Swing
Wild Gorge Swing in Oribi Gorge. Experience the Ultimate Rush! Situated at the top of Lehr’s Waterfall in Oribi Gorge, this is the highest swing of its kind in the world.

Wild Abseil
Learn the ropes! Abseil down a 110m Cliff face, alongside Lehr’s waterfall, and experience a new dimension in sightseeing!

Wild Slide
Zip-line Oribi Gorge. For those lacking the inclination to do the jump, the slide is just for you… Experience solitary bliss! Slide along the cable that spans across Oribi Gorge, 165m above the treetops. Strapped securely in a full body harness, you can lavish the view without compromising your comfort…

Wild Bridge
Suspension Bridge (84 Meters) – A spectacular opportunity to be suspended between heaven and terra firma, as you hover 100m above the Gorge floor enjoying views never before seen of Lehr’s Waterfall, Baboon’s Castle and the World’s Highest Gorge Swing.

But if you are more of a sit back and relax kind of person, you can enjoy some of the most breathtaking views and bird life. Don’t forget we also have family braais and picnic areas that you are more than welcome to enjoy! So don’t forget your cooler box and braai tongs.

    Good evening
    I am looking at going rafting. I would like to know is the river flowing well and rapids at level 3-4 . I would like to come 2nd week of Jan. I did the vaal river twice found it quite boring.
